This week's Badfish pick comes from the incredible filmmakers: Sharptail Media.

I would like to apologize in advance for showing you some of the most incredible dry fly footage we have ever seen, in the dead of winter. This is usually a time of mourning for the dry fly community, but I couldn’t help myself and had to share one of my favorite top water videos.

In the fishing world a little bit of luck from the fish gods can make all the difference, and when Simon Perkins gets lucky it usually means he will have a camera in his hand and be pressing the record button at the perfect moment. Simon was fishing with his wife in New Zealand when a combination of good timing and bad weather resulted in something truly spectacular. He slowly crawled to the edge of the water, hit the record button, and witnessed one of the coolest moments in fishing history.
